Do you require a deposit or retainer fee? Yes. To reserve your wedding date, a $150 non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking. This retainer ensures your place is officially held on my calendar.
Do I need a hair trial? Your hair trial is HIGHLY recommended. You wouldn’t wear a wedding dress you hadn’t tried on, right?! At your trial, I get to know your hair—its texture, how it holds a curl, what you love, and what you don’t. We fine-tune EVERY detail so that on your wedding day, there are no surprises—just confidence in knowing you’ll love the way you look. If any tweaks need to be made, we’ll know ahead of time, making the actual wedding morning flow perfectly. Plus, it’s a chance for us to connect! You’ll already feel comfortable and confident in my chair, knowing exactly what to expect. It’s like wedding hair insurance—ensuring that when you walk down the aisle, your hair is everything you envisioned.
When should I schedule my hair trial? 2-4 months before your wedding date. I will send you a calendar to book it.
Where does my hair trial take place + how long is it? the hair trial is done at my home studio in Irvine, Ca (92612). It is approximately 2.5-hrs. Additional styles are $50 each and dependent on time.
Should I schedule my hair trial for the same day as my shower? Actually, No. I don’t recommend this. Because we could be trying more than 1 style, you don’t want to feel rushed, and you don’t want to show up on the wedding day with the same hairstyle as your shower.
I need hair care help! Can you give me recommendations? Yes! I specialize in non-toxic hair care + scalp health. I love to help!
Can my bridal party get ready at the venue's bridal suite? I’m going to say a hard no, unless it’s JUST you getting ready in it. Bridal suites at venues are unfortunately NOT designed for multiple artists + you and the bridal party. My recommendation is to book an Airbnb or a hotel suite with plenty of space and light. (you want everyone to be comfy, have a place to chill, snack + get ready=lots of space)
What if I signed my contract for an assistant, but some of my girls backed out and don’t need one now? I understand that things happen, but once your contract is signed, you are responsible for paying the balance on the contract.
How many people do you style on your own? My maximum is 5 people, the bride + 4 others. Anything 5 + over requires an assistant hairstylist. You can also request a 2nd stylist in order to have a later start time. (I get it! We’re not all morning people!)
How do I rent clip-in extensions? I will color match you either before or during the hair trial. The rental fee is $200 (longer lengths may be more). Total payment of $450 will be added to your invoice. After the wedding you have 7 days to mail them back. Once they are received, you will get the $250 deposit back via venmo. (total price may vary depending on length)
Can my bridesmaids rent extensions? Sorry, no. Rentals are for the bride only.
How do you take payments? Venmo, Zelle, cash or HoneyBook (cc) Honeybook payments will include a processing fee
